Coming to Canada on a work permit can be the first step to staying permanently by qualifying under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) which is a path to Permanent Residency.
Every year, more than 190,000 foreign workers enter Canada to work temporarily in jobs that help Canadian employers address skill shortages. A work permit is needed for most temporary jobs in Canada and is issued to eligible foreign workers who wish to work temporarily in Canada. The Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) is a work permit category of last resort for employers who are unable to recruit qualified Canadians and Permanent Residents. Employers can hire temporary workers through the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) or the International Mobility Program (IMP).
The program uses a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to make a determination about work permit approval and includes very detailed advertising and recruiting requirements as well as other compliance obligations. An LMIA verifies that there is a need for a temporary worker and that no Canadians are available to do the job.
Before you apply for Work visa the prospective employer must first file a Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) application with Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). When LMIA is approved and issued by ESDC, only then a candidate can apply for work visa / permit.
Parry Immigration Solutions Inc provide services to both, Canadian employers and Foreign workers and take care of every process involved in acquiring Work Permit. We can assist you in making your LMIA application and can provide support for your advertising compulsions, as well as your ongoing compliance obligations. We can also help you in getting the necessary Work Permits, HRSDC authorization or NAFTA Work Permit after you have found an employer who wants to make you a job offer. Those born in the U.S. or Mexico may be exempt from the HRSDC process under NAFTA, and we will assess this when working with you. Please note we do not find jobs for applicants. We assist with all of the Immigration work after the applicant has been in contact with an employer directly and has been made a job offer.
We are pleased to offer to our Corporate Clients a full range of immigration services to support your business needs.
